On the basis of the indications obtained from the structural analyses of the current condition of the work, reinforcement measures to be implemented targeting the structural parts that were deficient in both seismic and static terms were identified.

In order to bring the work into line with current technical regulations (NTC 2018), a structural intervention had to be designed involving the demolition of the deck and the arches built over time and the subsequent installation of a new steel-concrete deck consisting of segments formed of steel webs and cast-in-place lower and upper slabs.

In order to create this type of structure, work will also be carried out on the existing piers, reinforcing them and working on their tops by reconstructing the pier cap, then proceeding with the installation of new supports.
