Road Infrastructure
The Route
The Autocisa stretch crosses the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines along a 101 km route and offers motorists a route immersed in greenery and unspoilt nature.
Crossing through an area with steep slopes and an altitude profile with sharp variations has required the construction of numerous impressive viaducts and tunnels with bold technical features.
In order to make the route more suitable, considerable investments are planned, with resources allocated to the renovation of viaducts and tunnels, the construction of an emergency lane in stretches without one, and the upgrading of rest areas.
